I would like to put out a big THANK-YOU to maintenance man Wes for coming to our room to fix our broken down air conditioner at I think was 1 or 2 in the morning. That in itself is not bad except if you have back problems as I have which seemed like torture each night just going to our room.
While the south tower is nice it is true the walk is far from the casino. This is the second time in all those years that they couldn't put us in the north tower.
Most of the time it's cheaper to do airfare separate and the room reservation using my slot card membership for a better deal. This trip was made as a package deal from US Airways for a better price than doing it separate as I usually do. We have stayed at the Golden Nugget twice a year for 25 years and have seen many changes through the years.
